Technica buyer

We are looking for a skilled buyer with a strong technical background.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for technical components, materials, and services, ensuring quality, cost optimization, and adherence to production and project timelines;
  • Analyze purchasing requirements from production, engineering, and planning departments;
  • Select and negotiate with Italian and international suppliers, respecting budgets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines;
  • Request and evaluate technical and commercial offers;
  • Assess and develop suppliers, including through audits and periodic visits;
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to validate alternative components and new technical solutions;
  • Monitor purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and manage any non-conformities;
  • Keep the Dynamics Navision (ERP) system up to date with item master data, price lists, lead times, and contractual conditions;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Buyer in industrial contexts (mechanical, electronic, plant engineering, etc.);
  • Knowledge of technical drawings and bills of materials;
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and prioritization skills;
  • Good command of standard IT tools (Office, Excel, ERP systems);
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher); knowledge of a second language is a plus.
