Predictive Analysis

Monitoring and intelligent maintenance for industrial fans

What is predictive analysis used for?

Predictive analysis enables the early detection of faults and anomalies in industrial fans through continuous monitoring of operating parameters.

Predictive analysis integrates with routine and extraordinary maintenance activities, allowing a shift from a reactive approach to a data-driven strategy.

This approach makes it possible to plan interventions more efficiently, reducing operational risks, increasing plant availability, and significantly lowering overall costs.

What does predictive analysis consist of?

Predictive analysis is an approach based on the collection and interpretation of data generated by industrial fans during operation.

Through dedicated sensors and data acquisition systems, critical parameters are monitored, such as:

  • Vibrations
  • Temperature
  • Rotational speed
  • Electrical absorption

The analysis of this data makes it possible to identify abnormal patterns and early signs of deterioration.

Preliminary inspections

The activities include preliminary visual and mechanical checks such as:

  • Verification of structural integrity and absence of corrosion
  • Check of tightening of bolts, flanges, and joints
  • Impeller inspection
  • Verification of shaft-motor alignment and coaxiality
  • Bearing inspection
  • Check of seals and any transmission components

Functional checks

During predictive analysis, we monitor the fan behavior during operation:

  • Measurement of absorbed current, voltage, and electrical power
  • Calculation of static and total efficiency
  • Vibration measurement at multiple points on the fan
  • Temperature verification: bearings, casing, and motor
  • Acoustic measurements
  • Run test across a speed range

Reporting

At the end of the analysis, a report will be provided to the customer, including:

  • Overall condition of the fan
  • Tables of collected data
  • Vibration spectrum
  • Comparison with applicable standards and allowable tolerances of components
  • Analysis of relevant standards
  • Recommendations and scheduling of corrective actions
